Internally known as Financial Advisor, Investment and Retirement Planning (FAIR), the Financial Planner in our retail branch network is a member of the branch sales team responsible for contributing to the team’s overall success by meeting or exceeding negotiated deposit and investment sales goals through effective management of an assigned portfolio of clients.
Your primary role is to establish and deepen investment and primary banking relationships with existing assigned clients as well as clients referred by branch partners.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct in‑depth reviews for assigned clients including retirement planning, wealth accumulation, and estate planning utilizing financial planning skills and tools to support clients’ financial goals.
- Uncover and solve clients’ needs, delivering trusted financial advice regarding investments and retirement planning.
- Identify clients’ needs to craft personalized financial strategies and solutions with a self‑motivated, goal‑oriented mindset.
- Educate clients, offer insights, and deliver expert advice fostering strong engagement.
- Build relationships, provide an excellent client experience, and grow long‑standing relationships with existing clients.
- Leverage advanced technology tools to enhance client interactions and streamline financial planning processes.
- Achieve targets while maintaining a balanced approach to client satisfaction and business growth.
- Experience in financial planning and investment sales is preferred.
- Successfully completed the CIFP/CFP designation or an equivalent bank‑recognized qualification.
- Certification as a Mutual Funds Representative in good standing with licensing requirements, having completed the Investment Funds in Canada or an equivalent.
