Position: Senior Personal Banker Trainee – Home Borrowing - Mandarin or Cantonese Language Skills an Asset

Senior Personal Banker - Home Borrowing

Location:

Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada

Hours:

37.5 hours per week

Pay: $59,500 - $84,000 CAD

Responsibilities
  • Create a consistent and exceptional customer experience in the branch, focusing on home borrowing advice and experiences.
  • Utilize deep knowledge of Real Estate Secured Lending products and other TDCT products to provide personalized solutions.
  • Ask thoughtful questions to uncover and understand customer needs, owning solution design and involving experts when required.
  • Improve customer financial confidence through ongoing dialogue and advice.
  • Act as a subject‑matter expert on all products, services, policies, and procedures of TD, including both personal and business banking products.
  • Maintain a professional and inviting branch environment, adhering to premises, marketing, and regulatory guidelines.
  • Engage in proactive customer outreach via phone, email, etc., to discuss portfolio updates and additional opportunities.
  • Keep comprehensive knowledge of the local market, competitive offers, and economic trends to support advice recommendations.
  • Ensure all documentation is accurate, reflects customer intentions, and is retained in accordance with policies.
  • Participate fully in team efforts to promote a positive work environment and timely communication of issues.
  • Contribute to business objectives by attracting, acquiring, and retaining customers, driving growth for TD, especially in market share expansion.
Qualifications
  • High School diploma, and/or higher post‑secondary or undergraduate degree in a related field (preferred).
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Investment Funds Canada (IFC) or equivalent certification.
  • Certificate in Financial Services Advice (CFSA).
  • Mandarin or Cantonese language skills are considered an asset.
  • Ability to be mobile within the assigned district; familiarity with potential geographic relocation within the region is required.
