MNP is a leading Canadian accounting and advisory firm seeking an Associate for its Corporate Finance team. In this role, you will support vendors by analyzing mergers and acquisitions while preparing confidential memorandums that highlight potential growth areas. Engaging various stakeholders is essential as you navigate the M&A process, ensuring every detail counts towards client success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Analyze deal rationale and value drivers for M&A opportunities
• Prepare confidential information memorandums (CIM) for prospective purchasers
• Conduct detailed financial analyses and risk assessments
• Develop project plans and manage client and stakeholder logistics
• Identify industry trends and summarize market conditions
Requirements:
• Completed or in-progress CPA designation
• 2-4 years of relevant experience
• Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Proficient in analyzing financial statements
• Mergers and acquisition experience is an asset
