Asset Investment Planning Coordinator

Shape the financial future of The City of Winnipeg as an Asset & Investment Planning Coordinator. In this role, you'll lead financial strategies and manage asset plans while enjoying a hybrid work environment.

This permanent, full-time position in the Innovation & Technology Department involves overseeing financial planning functions associated with capital investments. You will collaborate with departmental management to ensure transparency and accuracy in financial reporting. Further, you will play a pivotal role in developing asset management strategies while meeting key service delivery targets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead financial analysis for capital investment plans

• Coordinate input into the Department's budget submission

• Support Service Areas in developing performance measures

• Develop and manage the capital budget

• Provide input into operating budget management

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce, or Finance

• Minimum eight years of experience in Asset Management

• Certification in Asset Management is required

• Strong knowledge of risk analysis techniques

• Excellent communication and leadership skills
