Lightspeed is seeking a Strategic Financial Analyst to enhance our Finance team's operations across North America. Engage with complex business questions and provide comprehensive financial analyses.
As a key player in our department, you’ll report to the Director of Strategic Finance & Insights, influencing critical decisions for the VP Finance and CFO.
Your role demands curiosity and strong analytical skills to dissect various revenue streams and ensure all business models are thoroughly understood. From building financial analyses to simplifying ambiguity, your insights will guide senior leaders effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
• Solve intricate, open-ended financial questions across business segments
• Create driver-based financial models and three-statement analysis
• Validate and retrieve data using SQL and BI tools
• Enhance forecasting methodologies for improved accuracy
• Collaborate on finance reviews and maintain high standards
Requirements:
• Proven analytical skills in complex financial scenarios
• Experience with financial modeling from the ground up
• Familiarity with SQL and business intelligence tools
• Strong communication skills for presenting insights
• Background working in multifaceted business environments
