Position: Controller Role with Gerdau

As a Controller reporting directly to the General Manager, your tasks will revolve around maintaining precise financial records and analyzing cost data. Candidates should have five to eight years of experience in accounting, budgeting, and forecasting, combined with a profound understanding of financial regulations and principles. Proficiency in advanced financial software, including SAP and Power BI, is critical to developing insightful reports.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain the accuracy of production and inventory figures

• Scrutinize raw material usage and prepare cost statements

• Review financial statements with management and elucidate variances

• Conduct monthly analyses to identify opportunities for improvement

• Coordinate data for business plans and quarterly reviews

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field

• 5-8 years of cost and general accounting experience

• Strong proficiency in ERP, SAP, and Microsoft tools

• Excellent leadership and communication skills

• Familiarity with financial reporting standards
