How you’ll make an impactUse your experience in loan processing and loan administration to ensure the accuracy, compliance and effectiveness of FCC’s lending process. You’ll play a key role in turning complex information into accurate and reliable administrative actions that maintain loan integrity and ensure an optimal customer experience. As a Loan Fulfillment Technician, you’ll contribute directly to an optimized lending process through various processing activities.
Your ability to apply judgment, analyze situations and determine the proper steps – even when applications don’t fall within standard procedure – will help ensure that loan administration is complete, rigorous and compliant. If you have strong attention to detail, are solutions-focused and motivated by bringing precision, clarity and structure to complex processes while working closely with teams in multiple locations, this role is for you.
you’ll do
- Execute a variety of loan processing activities, including security amendments, loan documentation, searches and disbursements
- Use lending systems (JET, CML, CMS and related tools) to maintain the integrity of customer and loan data
- Apply policies, procedures and sound judgment to accurately complete loan administration activities and resolve exceptions
- Review requests for compliance with lending policies and procedures, and applicable legislative requirements
- Monitor and manage an individual worklist to meet service, quality and timeliness standards while supporting team workflow priorities
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
- Support internal partners by responding to inquiries, providing guidance on policies and procedures
Required qualifications:
A bachelor’s degree or certification in administration, business or a related field
- Working knowledge of loan management systems and applications
- Two years of experience related to lending, mortgages, banking services, credit products, or in the legal field (or an equivalent combination of education and experience)
- Bilingualism (English and French) is an asset
