Wawanesa is seeking a Treasury Analyst for an 8-month term to manage daily, weekly, and monthly transaction processes across its entities. The ideal candidate will be skilled in problem-solving, analytical thinking, and communication, reporting to various stakeholders. Key Responsibilities:

• Resolve daily banking transaction exceptions efficiently

• Troubleshoot payment issues with internal departments and banks

• Prepare journal entries in People Soft for banking transactions

• Reconcile general ledger accounts and investigate exceptions

• Verify daily cashed cheques to prevent fraud

Requirements:

• 1-3 years of relevant finance experience

• Post-secondary degree or equivalent experience

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent time management and organizational abilities

• Experience with People Soft or similar software preferred
