Position overview:

The Director of Food and Beverage reports to the Food Services Manager or Area Supervisor and is responsible for planning, organizing, and coordinating all activities related to the provision of meal service to patients and clients. This role ensures efficient operation, maintains high standards of quality and health and safety, and upholds the Mission, Values, and Management Philosophy of St. Boniface Hospital.

Key Responsibilities

Plan, organize, and coordinate meal service operations for patients/clients.

Coordinate the food service area, equipment, staff, and service workflows.

Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and food service standards.

Manage procurement and inventory of food and supplies.

Track and report on budgetary performance and operational metrics.

Qualifications and Skills

Minimum of X years of experience in food service management or related field (to be clarified).

Degree, diploma, or certificate in Food Service Management, Hospitality, or related discipline.

Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Physical Requirements

Ability to walk/stand throughout the shift.

Ability to lift and move moderately heavy objects.

Ability to withstand heat and steam.
