Ensure a welcoming atmosphere at the Sternwheeler Hotel and Conference Centre in Whitehorse. This on-site Light Duty Cleaner position offers hands-on cleaning responsibilities in a vibrant hotel environment.

We are looking for one Light Duty Cleaner to uphold the cleanliness standards of our hotel. You will engage in sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting surfaces, as well as responding to guest needs. Your attention to detail will make a difference in maintaining a clean, inviting space.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors thoroughly

• Vacuum carpets, area rugs, and drapes effectively

• Dust all furnishings in guest rooms and public areas

• Make beds and change linens for guest satisfaction

• Clean and disinfect kitchens and bathrooms meticulously

Requirements:

• No formal education requirements

• Experience will be provided through training

• Physical capability to perform cleaning tasks is essential

• Fluent in English for guest communication

• Must work at the hotel location only
