Become a key player in UBC’s Human Resources team as an HR Clerk. Manage employee lifecycle processes and provide vital support to faculty and staff in a collaborative setting.
This role involves administrative support in recruitment, onboarding, and handling HR-related inquiries for the Faculty of Arts. You will engage with Workday systems for appointment processes and work closely with HR team members to maintain a positive working workplace. Your contributions will directly impact staff experiences throughout the human resources journey.
Key Responsibilities- Process recruitment and appointment life cycles via Workday
- Provide frontline support for HR inquiries
- Maintain recruitment and employment documentation
- Assist with payroll problem resolution
- Support HR projects and initiatives within the team
- High School diploma with post-secondary education
- At least three years of relevant experience
- Familiarity with Workday systems is an asset
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to address diverse HR needs effectively
