You will report to the Indigenous Health Provincial Planning Director, playing an essential role in the implementation of workforce strategies that uplift Indigenous employees across Manitoba. This position involves engaging Indigenous communities and promoting healthcare careers among youth while supporting a diverse workplace culture. Your initiatives will directly impact the dismantling of Indigenous racism within the healthcare system.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement initiatives for Indigenous workforce engagement
• Promote health careers to Indigenous youth
• Collaborate with various healthcare programs
• Assist Indigenous employees through their career paths
• Drive recruitment efforts aligned with Indigenous health priorities
Requirements:
• Minimum 3 years in HR or recruitment roles
• Familiarity with Indigenous health issues
• Proven experience engaging with diverse communities
• Relevant degree in Human Resources or discipline
• Must hold a valid Manitoba driver’s license
