Position: Talent Acquisition Assistant (Co-op/Intern)

Dawn Info Tek Inc.is a professional IT consulting team that partners with major financial institutions, investment firms and government sectors. We have been dedicated in delivering cutting-edge consulting services and recruiting all levels of IT positions for our clients.

We are currently seeking ambitious Co-op students and recent graduates to join our dynamic team as a
Talent Acquisition Assistant (Co-op/Intern). Full training will be provided, so college and university students are encouraged to apply!

  • Report to:Account Manager / Senior Recruiter
  • Hourly wage:$18.00 / hr
Responsibilities
  • Gather position requirements and post job advertisements on relevant job boards.
  • Generate and maintain a database of resume leads.
  • Source candidates creatively through online platforms, referrals, organizations, career events, and other methods to build and sustain talent pipelines.
  • Conduct pre-screening interviews, evaluate candidates, complete reference checks, and manage salary negotiations.
  • Preselect and identify candidates for entry-level positions, including creating concise resume summaries for hiring managers.
  • Build and manage pipelines of candidates for niche skills or specialized roles.
  • Arrange and coordinate interview schedules with candidates and hiring managers.
  • Update and maintain tracking documents to reflect daily and weekly recruitment progress.
  • Collaborate within a team to ensure the best possible recruitment experience and process.
  • Always maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Exhibit a positive attitude and a strong commitment to delivering excellent service to clients and consultants.
  • Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned that align with the recruitment role.
Job Qualifications:
  • 1+ years of IT recruitment experience with a strong commitment to high-quality delivery is highly preferred.
  • Experience in MSP recruitment is a plus.
  • Creative thinker with the ability to explore and develop new sourcing strategies.
  • Confident, passionate, and motivated to succeed while embracing new challenges.
  • Eager to acquire knowledge in new technologies and business practices.
  • Strong people-oriented approach with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to manage pressure and meet deadlines in a high-volume environment.
  • Proficient in handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Fluency in Mandarin or Cantonese is an asset.
  • Diploma or degree in HR, Business, Psychology, or a related field is preferred.
