As a key player reporting to the Indigenous Health Provincial Planning Director, your expertise in human resources will help develop a diverse Indigenous workforce. This role emphasizes the importance of culturally informed recruitment practices and the retention of Indigenous talent within the healthcare sector. Collaboration with community partners and various programs will drive your initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead initiatives for Indigenous workforce recruitment
• Foster a supportive environment for Indigenous applicants
• Collaborate on community engagement and development strategies
• Promote diversity and anti-discrimination in hiring practices
• Guide Indigenous employees throughout their career development
Requirements:
• At least 3 years of HR or recruitment experience
• Knowledge of Manitoba's healthcare system
• Experience promoting careers to Indigenous youth
• Relevant degree or certification in Human Resources
• Strong discussion and leadership skills
