This full-time, in-person role is pivotal in overseeing payroll processing for unionized and non-union employees. You will build scalable payroll infrastructures, manage group benefits, and ensure compliance across multiple provinces. Your leadership will drive necessary process improvements, enhancing operational efficiency while supporting organizational growth.
Key Responsibilities:
• Verify and process payroll records accurately
• Administer employee benefits and retirement plans
• Manage compliance with employment standards and tax remittances
• Facilitate payroll system implementation and improvements
• Serve as primary contact for external benefits providers
Requirements:
• 5+ years of progressive payroll experience
• Expertise in multi-provincial payroll management
• Certification as Payroll Compliance Professional (PCP) preferred
• Strong HRIS and payroll systems knowledge
• Attention to detail and confidentiality in handling data
