Position: HRIS Analyst (Full Time)
The  Human Resource Information Systems (  HRIS) Analyst  works with the Organizational and HR team and helps manage and improve the systems that support Human Resources, Payroll, Benefits, and workforce management at New Directions. Working closely with leaders across the organization, this role ensures employee data is accurate, develops reports and workforce insights, supports budgeting and staffing planning, and helps improve processes through technology and data.

The HRIS Analyst plays an important role in helping the organization make informed decisions, operate efficiently, and provide excellent support to employees.

Responsibilities:

HRIS Administration & System Support

Maintains and supports HR, payroll, benefits, scheduling, and workforce management systems.

Configures system settings, workflows, security access, and organizational structures.

Troubleshoots issues and coordinates with vendors and internal stakeholders on system enhancements and upgrades.

Data Management, Reporting & Analytics

Develops, maintains, and automates reports, dashboards, and workforce metrics.

Analyzes trends related to staffing, turnover, absenteeism, overtime, and labour costs.

Develops projections and scenario analyses to assess workforce and budget impacts.

Process Improvement & Projects

Evaluates business processes and recommend technology-driven improvements.

Participates in system implementations, upgrades, testing, and organizational projects.

Gathers requirements and translate business needs into system solutions.

Training & Stakeholder Support

Serves as a subject matter expert for HR, payroll, benefits, and workforce systems.

Provides guidance and support to managers, employees, and internal departments.

Develops user resources, documentation, and training materials.

Qualifications:

Minimum of three (3) years of experience in with digital HR system, preferably within a Human Resources, Payroll, or Benefits Administration.

Post-secondary education (degree or diploma) in Business Analysis or Human Resource Management (or a related field) from a recognized post-secondary institution. A combination of education and experience may be considered.

Payroll Compliance Professional (PCP) or Certified Professional in Human Resources (CPHR) designation or candidate status, is considered an asset.

Demonstrated experience working with a full HRIS platform, including processing payroll, maintaining payroll records, and data entry

Experience implementing solutions in a technology environment.

Proven ability to foster and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external contacts.

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, including Outlook, Excel, Word, Visio, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.

Fluency in American Sign Language is considered an asset.

The salary range for this full-time permanent 70-hour biweekly positions is  $34.3238 to $43.2439 per hour (equivalent to $62,469.32 to $78,703.90 annually), dependent upon education and/or experience. A full benefits package (which includes Health and Dental Benefits, Long Term Disability, and a Pension Plan) is provided to permanent full-time staff.

The successful candidate will be subject to Criminal Record, Child/Adult Abuse Registry, and Prior Contact checks.
