We are looking for a Operations Manager Rosewood to join our Agrifoods Transportation Team!! Our Operations Manager Rosewood is responsible for Bulk Milk Transportation Operations, including managing client relationships, planning resources to safely and legally meet transportation demands while developing a strong workforce of drivers. You will be an integral part of the Agrifoods Transportation team and will report to the Director of Transportation at the company.
OpportunitiesThis is a very exciting time for the transport as we continue to grow and expand! The main challenge of this position is coordinating and conferring with professional staff to resolve operating problems and difficulties. You will also provide support for several projects from an operational, financial and resource standpoint. This position will give you the opportunity to expand your communications skills along with growing your organization, and responsibility skills.

- You possess a diploma or degree in operations management, business, or related field
- You have knowledge of Class 1 Vehicles, Tanker Trailers and Transportation Safety and Regulations
- National Safety Code Training and knowledge
- Safety Program Management experience
- Working with clients and producers to ensure a superior level of satisfaction
- Promote the benefits of and a culture of continual improvement of work processes for reduction in health, safety and environmental risks
- Improve operational systems, processes and policies in support of organization’s mission -- specifically, support better management reporting, information flow/management, business process and organizational planning
- Provide support for any number of projects from an operational, financial and resource standpoint
- Provide advice, guidance, and direction to subordinates towards their professional development
- Coordinate with professional staff to resolve operating problems and difficulties and authorize department operational procedures within corporate framework
- Responsible for the future outlook and investigating all leads connected with the securing of new work
- Travel required between locations
- Respond after hours to emergency calls, following up as needed
