You are a strategic and operationally strong Media Director who will join the team to lead the planning, coordination, and execution of integrated media programs supporting national class action noticing, community engagement initiatives, issues response, and government-related communications.

In this role, you provide leadership across the end-to-end coordination and delivery of media programs, ensuring strategy, execution, and vendor partnerships work together to achieve effective outreach and measurable program outcomes.

You serve as the single point of coordination for Castlemain media execution, overseeing implementation across multiple projects and ensuring campaigns are delivered efficiently, responsibly, and with clear accountability.

To succeed in this role, you bring a deep understanding of the audiences we must reach — including older populations, Indigenous communities, and individuals living in rural, remote, and underserved regions. Rather than prioritizing any single channel approach, you focus on selecting the most trusted and accessible media environments to overcome barriers to information access and ensure communications reach communities effectively.

What Are Your Responsibilities? Strategic Media Leadership
  • Lead the development and implementation of integrated media strategies aligned with programobjectivesand communication mandates.
  • Provide leadership across the full lifecycle of media programs — from planning and channelselectionthrough execution, optimization, and reporting.
  • Serve as the single operational point of contact for Castlemain media execution, ensuring consistency, coordination, and accountability across initiatives.
  • Translate communication goals into practical media approaches designed to reach diverse populations across urban, rural, and remote communities.
  • Identifybarriers audiences may face in accessing information and recommend solutions through appropriate channelselectionand outreach approaches.
  • Ensure strategies prioritize accessibility, trust, and community reach over platform preference.
  • Drive ongoing innovation byidentifyingnew outreach opportunities, emerging media environments, and improved delivery models
Program Coordination & Delivery
  • Lead the coordination of internal teams to ensure seamless execution across planning, buying, reporting, finance, and project delivery functions.
  • Oversee all media execution activities, ensuring timelines, deliverables, and approvalsremainon track.
  • Provide clear direction to execution teams whilemaintainingoverall accountability for program outcomes.
  • Support delivery within government program environments, including awareness of procurement processes and billing cycles.
  • Anticipate operational risks and proactively resolve issues tomaintaincampaign momentum and quality.
  • Develop culturally respectful media strategies supporting Indigenous outreach and engagement initiatives.
  • Build andmaintainstrong working relationships with Indigenous and community-focused media organizations.
  • Re-establish and formalize partnerships with key vendors capable of reaching Indigenous and remote audiences, including strengthening relationships key media partners.
  • Identify and activate non-traditional media channels that extend beyond mainstream advertising environments.
  • Ensure outreach approaches reflect trauma-informed communication practices and community knowledge.
  • Lead regular performance reporting that clearly communicates campaign reach, delivery effectiveness, and audience penetration.
  • Translate results into actionable insights, recommendations, and opportunities for improvement and innovation.
