Take the lead at Ma Mawi Wi Chi Itata Centre as Team Lead in a specialized program for sexually exploited youth. Drive policy development and ensure quality care within the environment.
As Team Lead, you will oversee a team dedicated to supporting Indigenous youth aged 13-17 recover from exploitation.
Your role requires developing exceptional care practices, maintaining compliance with legislation, and leading programs to promote healing and empowerment. Passion and understanding of Indigenous culture are paramount.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement and assess program policies and practices
• Supervise and mentor operational staff
• Coordinate hiring and staff training activities
• Maintain records of program and staff performance
• Handle financial approvals related to the position
Requirements:
• BSW or equivalent qualifications and experience
• Dedication to improving youth lives and families
• Strong background in trauma-informed care practices
• Excellent leadership and communication capabilities
• Valid Manitoba driving license and requisite background checks
