Position: Clinic Manager )

About the Role

We are partnering with a growing private healthcare clinic in Calgary to find an experienced Clinic Manager who will take ownership of the clinic's daily operations and play a central role in its continued growth. This is a pivotal leadership position for someone who thrives at the intersection of people management, patient experience, and operational excellence.

You will be the operational backbone of the practice — leading the administrative team, optimizing patient flow, managing systems and compliance, and ensuring both staff and patients have a consistently positive experience.

If you enjoy building strong teams, improving how a clinic runs, and being trusted to make it your own, this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the clinic, ensuring everything runs smoothly and efficiently.
  • Lead, schedule, and support the front‑desk and administrative team, fostering a positive and collaborative culture.
  • Manage patient flow, appointment scheduling, and the overall patient experience from check‑in to follow‑up.
  • Oversee billing, invoicing, and reconciliation, and maintain accurate records within the clinic's EMR system.
  • Ensure the clinic meets all healthcare privacy, safety, and regulatory compliance standards.
  • Handle staffing matters including hiring, onboarding, training, and performance support.
  • Manage inventory, supplier relationships, and clinic resources.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, efficiency, and service quality.
  • Act as the key point of contact between clinical staff, administrative staff, and clinic leadership.
What We're Looking For
  • 3+ years of experience managing a medical, dental, or allied‑health clinic.
  • Proven leadership and team‑management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Strong working knowledge of EMR systems, scheduling software, and clinic billing processes.
  • Excellent organizational and problem‑solving abilities, with a calm, steady presence under pressure.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills — genuinely good with both staff and patients.
  • Familiarity with Alberta healthcare privacy and compliance requirements (a robust asset).
  • A proactive, ownership mindset and a genuine interest in helping a practice grow.
What's on Offer
  • Competitive salary, commensurate with experience.
  • A stable, growing clinic with a supportive and collaborative team.
  • The autonomy to shape how the practice operates and the chance to make a real impact.
  • Long‑term career stability in one of Canada's most resilient sectors.
