Wellness Program Supervisor at ShawenimAbinoojii

Lead the Wellness Program at Shawenim Abinoojii, a First Nations-led organization. Oversee program delivery and support facilitators for improving youth experiences in Southeast communities.

This full-time, permanent role reports to the Director of Engagement and seeks a skilled supervisor with 3-5 years’ experience with youth and families. Responsibilities include supervising facilitators, coordinating programs, and fostering community partnerships. Your leadership will enhance wellness and recreation for First Nations children and youth, positively impacting their physical and emotional health.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise Wellness Program under Director of Engagement

• Mentor and evaluate Wellness Program Facilitators

• Organize and coordinate wellness and recreation programs

• Maintain program budget and manage supplies

• Collaborate with community partners for effective service delivery

Requirements:

• 3-5 years working with children and families

• 2-3 years of supervisory experience

• Willingness to travel regularly to communities

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Knowledge of First Nations culture and perspectives
