Senior Manager Logistics provides leadership for the Distribution Center and supervisors who are directly responsible for turnkey warehousing and transportation solutions. The incumbent will maintain a high‑level interface directly with the customer on a regular basis.

    Sunday, Monday, Tuesday 7:00 am – 7:00 pm & Wednesday 7:00 am – 1:00 pm

  • Travel: 10 – 20% travel; must be able to travel to the U.S.

Summary

The Senior Manager Logistics will lead the Distribution Center and its supervisors, ensuring turnkey warehousing and transportation solutions while maintaining high customer satisfaction through direct interface and continuous improvement.

Essential Functions
  • Interface directly with the customer to ensure timely issue resolution and maintain high customer satisfaction.
  • Strategic operational planning and execution for the operation.
  • Identify and solve operational issues with accounts using continuous improvement and Lean initiatives, strengthen team unity, goals, productivity, and results.
  • Hire, supervise, develop, and manage performance for employees; maintain a positive employee relations environment.
  • Maintain open and effective communication within and across work groups; review data and implement necessary actions.
  • Manage profit and loss statements as the organization’s complexity and scope require.
  • Lead a proactive safety program consistent with company policy; enforce location safety plans, training, and processes; monitor equipment maintenance using checklists.

Qualifications
  • High School diploma/GED required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain preferred.
  • Master’s degree in Business, Logistics, Transportation, or related field preferred.
  • Five (5) or more years of relevant experience in supply chain, logistics, warehouse, or related field required.
  • Five (5) or more years of managing, leading, and developing direct reports required.
  • Three (3) or more years of Profit & Loss responsibility preferred.
  • One (1) or more year of customer interaction preferred.
