Overview

Responsible for coordinating and administrating services, resources, and programming. Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement meaningful activities aligned with Life's Journey values.

Manages budgets, documents, reports and transactions including payroll, mileage & expenses. Coordinates outreach services, report writing, record keeping, and oversees work incentives within legal, safety, policy and program requirements.

Leadership & Staff Management

Provides leadership, supervision, coaching, feedback, and coordination for staff on performance and employment issues. Includes recruitment, interviewing, hiring, and daily program needs. Works with Foster Care, Cluster Housing and Shift Staffed Residences as designated by the Program Manager.

Works with Clinical Case Manager and Program Managers to communicate effectively, maintain a positive and respectful workplace, and support staff to meet high standards.

Collaboration with other agencies and organizations; advocating for participants and liaising with stakeholders.

Qualifications & Experience
  • University education in Social Services or equivalent;
    Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.
  • Experience (optimally three years) in supporting individuals with disabilities, FASD/neurobehavioral, intellectual disabilities.
  • Experience (optimally 3 years) in supervisory roles.
  • Satisfactory Child and Adult Abuse Registry check, Criminal Record Check (vulnerable sector search), and satisfactory Driver’s abstract and license.
  • Certification of First Aid Level 1 – Emergency.
  • Ability to attend work regularly as scheduled.
  • Demonstrated language, writing, and comprehension skills.
  • Demonstrate cultural knowledge competence and participation in agency training for development.
  • A safe and reliable vehicle with appropriate insurance.
  • Crisis management skills.
