Manager for Parks and Roads Operations

Lead public infrastructure initiatives as the Manager for Parks and Roads in Fort McMurray. Oversee road maintenance, park management, and service delivery while fostering a safe and inclusive environment.

In this permanent full-time role with the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo, you will manage the Parks and Roads division, ensuring alignment with the Municipal Strategic Plan. Your responsibilities will involve daily operations, budgeting, and strategic planning while promoting teamwork and community engagement. As a leader, you'll focus on enhancing service quality, staff training, and interdepartmental collaboration to effectively meet organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations and strategic planning

• Develop performance measures for staff development

• Manage administrative tasks for service delivery

• Recruit, train, and mentor the team

• Address community concerns and coordinate with agencies

Requirements:

• Ten years in parks management or road maintenance

• Five years in a supervisory role

• Degree in Engineering or related field

• Valid Class Five Operator's Licence

• Criminal Record Check submission
