What to be excited for in this role- Coordinate and build e-marketing campaigns including various email newsletters, automated lead-nurturing campaigns, corporate campaigns and Season Ticket Member account communications. This position will focus on both revenue generating campaigns and branding/fan engagement promotions.
- Assist in developing and implementing email marketing strategy.
- Maintain and update TNSE email calendar to ensure proper planning and execution.
- Analyze and drive KPI’s for critical email performance metrics such as deliverability, open and click through rates, conversion/bounce rates, and database growth over time.
- Assist with the team’s analytical efforts, including pointing out trends and utilizing test methods to help deliver best results (i.e. A/B testing, frequency, time of day, etc.).
- Utilize quality assurance methods to ensure email / digital campaigns are optimized for best performance on all platforms and devices.
- Communicate regularly with Jets and Moose Marketing Managers, Entertainment Marketing team, as well as other stakeholders to develop campaigns to support marketing efforts across TNSE.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s Degree, Diploma or equivalent experience in Business, Marketing, or Communications.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in digital marketing or related field.
- Experience working with a CRM system, lead generation and nurturing, marketing automation, email marketing, forms, and campaign reporting.
- Experience with Mailchimp, or similar email marketing platform preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Proficiency with basic HTML editing.
- Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite with an emphasis on Photoshop is preferred.
- Understanding of Canadian email privacy legislation (CASL) is an asset.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both written and orally. Strong copywriting skills is a must.
- Ability to prioritize and manage numerous projects simultaneously.
- Must possess strong organizational skills, be self-motivated, and creative.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues from across multiple business areas.
- Strong attention to detail required.
- Knowledge of hockey and/or event marketing preferred.
- Flexible schedule with the ability to work nights and weekends as required.
