Volunteer Opportunity
Description of DutiesAs a peer facilitator, you will serve to make sure that discussions remain on topic, that everyone has a chance to share and to create a welcoming environment for people coming in to talk about their mental health.
You are not expected to provide therapy or clinical advice – MDAM provides training, resources, and ongoing supervision to support you in this role.
Building is wheelchair accessible.

Volunteers gain meaningful experience in peer support and community mental health while making a tangible difference in the lives of others.
Experience suitable for social work, psychology, counseling, nursing, or community services pathways.

Time Commitment:
Evening, Remote Volunteering – One hour weekly, ongoing.
