Position: Vice President Of Philanthropy Role
Join the Ottawa Cancer Foundation as Vice President of Philanthropy, leading efforts to enhance donor engagement and support vital cancer care services across Eastern Ontario. This permanent, full‑time position reports to the CEO and is critical in developing and executing fundraising strategies. You will cultivate relationships with major donors, corporate partners, and community leaders, ensuring long‑term support for the Foundation's mission.

Your expertise in navigating complex fundraising landscapes will be pivotal in increasing multi‑year commitments and aligning with the Foundation’s growth and needs.

Key Responsibilities   Lead the Foundation’s philanthropy function through strategic vision
Enhance donor confidence and engagement through thoughtful relationships
Collaborate closely with executive leadership for fundraising alignment
Supervise day‑to‑day execution of philanthropy initiatives
Engage publicly, fostering community connections and outreach
Requirements   Leadership experience in sophisticated fundraising environments
Solid background in major gifts and donor stewardship
Ability to adapt engagement strategies to diverse audiences
Proven experience in healthcare or charitable sectors
Effective communication skills, including bilingual proficiency
