Youth Climbing Ministry Program Coordinator

Lead as a Program Coordinator in The Rock climbing ministry with Youth for Christ Winnipeg. Facilitate youth engagement through fun climbing programs while supporting their spiritual growth.

Your role will focus on developing and executing climbing initiatives that inspire youth at The Rock, located at 333 King St. As the tallest climbing wall in Manitoba, this facility provides an exceptional environment for youth to connect with peers and mentors. Strong community-building skills and a deep commitment to faith are vital for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and lead engaging climbing programs and activities

• Welcome youth and connect them with volunteers upon arrival

• Oversee climbing wall safety and participant well-being

• Conduct maintenance and safety inspections regularly

• Mentor and equip volunteers to enhance program delivery

Requirements:

• 1-2 years of climbing experience necessary

• Abide by YFC’s mission and Community Covenant

• Strong administrative and organizational skills

• Active participant in a local church environment

• Versatile in managing multiple projects and tasks
