Join the Winnipeg Humane Society Board of Directors and make a difference for animals in need. This volunteer role involves monthly meetings and a commitment to promoting animal welfare.
The Winnipeg Humane Society is seeking two dedicated individuals passionate about animal welfare and community service. Board members will participate in monthly meetings, contribute to strategic planning, and support sustainability through fundraising efforts. The position requires attending the Annual General Meeting and engaging with key stakeholders within the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
• Attend monthly board and committee meetings
• Engage in organizational strategy and budget approval
• Monitor financial asset management performance
• Support fundraising initiatives and advocacy efforts
• Foster volunteer engagement in organizational activities
Requirements:
• Proven reliability and diligence in commitments
• Strong fundraising or relevant experience
• Knowledge of animal welfare principles
• Previous board experience is advantageous
• Ability to read and interpret financial statements
Serve on the Board to make impactful decisions for the welfare of animals in Winnipeg.
