Volunteering Canterbury is looking for a Youth representative to join its Board, with meetings held monthly. The role provides an opportunity to influence local volunteer efforts alongside a Waimakariri-based representative. You will work with other Board members to advocate for volunteering initiatives, ensuring diverse voices such as Pasifika and Maori are represented.

Key Responsibilities:

• Attend monthly Board meetings for 1-2 hours

• Contribute ideas and insights from your area of expertise

• Support the advocacy and training of volunteer initiatives

• Collaborate with members representing diverse communities

• Assist in strategic planning to enhance volunteer engagement

Requirements:

• Passion for youth engagement and community service

• Prior experience in volunteer work or community service

• Ability to commit to monthly meetings
