You will work closely with the Director of Circle and Tribunal Administration to effectively organize and facilitate circle and tribunal gatherings. This role ensures compliance with laws while fostering relationships among participants and community members. Your work will be critical in promoting transparency and cultural integrity throughout the decision-making process.
Key Responsibilities:
• Organize and coordinate Circle and Tribunal meetings
• Prepare and distribute required documentation
• Engage with stakeholders to ensure effective communication
• Support Elders and community members in outreach activities
• Facilitate adherence to cultural practices and protocols
Requirements:
• Member of the Pikwakanagan/Algonquin community
• Understanding of child and family law principles
• 2-3 years experience in event/project management
• Background in trauma-informed practice preferred
• Class “G” driver's license and reliable vehicle
