This position is full-time and requires a commitment to empowering youth through mentorship, leveraging 2-3 years of relevant experience, ideally focused on Black communities. You will coordinate mentor recruitment, organize workshops, and monitor program effectiveness, ensuring alignment with the program’s values of diversity and inclusion.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement strategies for mentor recruitment and development
• Collaborate with local organizations to expand mentorship opportunities
• Facilitate training for mentors on best practices
• Manage communication and feedback channels
• Coordinate documentation and orientation for mentors
Requirements:
• Education in Social Work, Community Development, or equivalent
• Proven experience in youth programming and volunteer coordination
• Strong facilitation and presentation skills
• Understanding of equity and diversity issues
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings
