Writer​/Advocate

Position: Writer/Advocate at The Borgen Project
Shape the narrative around global poverty as a Writer/Advocate with The Borgen Project. This unpaid part-time remote role offers 12 hours of engaging work weekly to create impactful content.

In this position, you'll commit to 12 hours per week over 12 weeks, writing articles for BORGEN Magazine and supporting advocacy initiatives. No experience needed—just your passion for fighting poverty and commitment to meaningful projects. You will also have opportunities to lead your own fundraising campaigns.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create thought-provoking articles for publication

• Research pressing global issues impacting communities

• Support The Borgen Project's advocacy and outreach efforts

• Develop a personal fundraising strategy

• Achieve set targets for fundraising activities

Requirements:

• Passion for social issues and global poverty

• No previous writing or advocacy experience required

• Availability of 12 hours per week remotely

• Strong research and writing skills

• Opportunity for college credit through participation
