In this vital role, you'll collaborate with the Development Team while reporting to the VP of Partnership and Development in Winnipeg. Your responsibilities include prospecting grants, writing applications that resonate with grantors, and maintaining compliance with funding requirements. This position is designed for individuals driven by a commitment to community welfare and nonprofit development.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement strategic plans for grant funding
• Research and identify grant opportunities
• Draft comprehensive applications tailored to funders
• Prepare grant proposals for various agencies
• Monitor deadlines and application processes
Requirements:
• Degree in Communications, Nonprofit Management, or related field
• Minimum 3 years in grant writing or fundraising
• Excellent writing, detail orientation, and research ability
• Proficient in MS Office 365 and donor management software
• Commitment to confidentiality and ethical standards
