InSeat Bartenders

Join the True North Hospitality team as a Bartender at Canada Life Centre, where you'll work alongside the in-seat hospitality team to create exceptional experiences for guests attending some of Winnipeg's most exciting live events.
In this role, you'll help deliver friendly, efficient beverage service while working together to ensure every guest has an outstanding experience.

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with recipes, portion standards, and responsible service practices.
• Connect with guests, make beverage recommendations, and identify opportunities to enhance their experience through thoughtful, confident, suggestive selling.
• Verify guest identification and ensure compliance with all LGCA regulations, Smart Choices requirements, and venue policies.
• Process beverage orders accurately using the point-of-sale (POS) system and electronic payments.
• Verify inventory levels before and after each shift, restock supplies, and report shortages to supervisors.
• Assist with the setup, operation, breakdown, and cleaning of bar areas and equipment.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following food safety, sanitation, and workplace health and safety standards.
• Support inventory control, equipment maintenance, and operational procedures to ensure efficient service.
• Work closely with the In-Seat Supervisor and fellow Food & Beverage team members to keep service running smoothly in a fast-paced event environment.
• Respond to guest questions or concerns professionally and help find solutions that leave guests with a positive experience.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support Food & Beverage operations.

• Previous bartending experience(2+ years preferred), ideally in hospitality, sports, entertainment, or high-volume venues.
• Knowledge of beer, wine, spirits, classic cocktails, and premiumbeveragepreparation.
• Experience using POSsystems and digital payment technology.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to connect easily and confidently with guests.
• A natural ability to recommend and promote beverage offerings while keeping the guest experience at the centre of each interaction.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and the confidence to resolve guest concerns professionally.
• Ability to thrivein a fast-paced, high-volume environment while remaining calm under pressure.
• Apositive attitude, strong teamwork skills, anda reliable workethic.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays, andevent-based schedules.
• Ability to standfor extended period sand perform the physical demands ofthe role.
• Current Smart Choices Certification, or willingness to obtain certification before your first shift.
