Elevate food service operations as a Food Services Assistant Manager. Support the Food Services Manager in maintaining quality and safety across multiple locations.
This newly created role focuses on overseeing daily food service operations and involves hands-on management of meal distribution, inventory control, and staff coaching. With a strong emphasis on food safety, you will be responsible for compliance with regulations, equipment maintenance, and effective communication among staff and suppliers.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee food distribution and daily operations across multiple locations
• Coordinate food ordering, inventory management, and storage
• Ensure meals meet dietary requirements and quality standards
• Maintain menus, recipes, and compliance logs
• Monitor food waste and inventory costs
Requirements:
• Diploma or degree in Food Service Management or related field
• 2–3 years of experience in food safety and handling
• Current Food Handler Certificate
• Strong practical cooking and organization skills
• Valid Manitoba Driver's License and legal eligibility to work in Canada
