Position Summary
Staffmax is hiring a Consumer Lending Officer on behalf of our client. This role is responsible for delivering exceptional, needs-based service to both existing and prospective customers through the promotion, sale, and administration of consumer lending products and services. The successful candidate will be an experienced lending professional who thrives in a fast-paced, sales-driven environment and consistently meets or exceeds performance targets.
Key Responsibility Areas
Service Delivery
Deliver a needs-based, customer-focused service experience aligned with the client’s service model
Understand customers’ current and future financial situations to recommend appropriate lending products and services
Respond to customer inquiries related to consumer lending and resolve issues whenever possible, escalating more complex matters as required
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of lending products, services, policies, and procedures
Provide additional administrative or service support as required

Grade 12 Diploma plus two years of formal business-related education (or equivalent)
2 to 5 years of job-related experience
, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Current need is for an experienced candidate with direct consumer lending experience
Strong sales orientation with a proven ability to meet performance targets in a financial services environment

This is a sales-focused role dealing exclusively with consumer lending products and services
High performance expectations related to loan growth, referrals, number of lending facilities, audit results, and insurance-related sales

Compensation
Salary Range (Confidential): $31.20 – $36.71 per hour
(Approximately $60,840 – $71,584 annually)
Incentive Pay:
Annual bonus
Quarterly insurance-related incentive earnings
