- Maintenance of client requests with a focus on waste broker management. This includes managing communications with clients, quoting, completion of documentation and record keeping.
- Management of new customer inquiries through calls, emails, walk ins etc. This includes provision of quotations and follow‑up.
- Assurance of meeting contractual obligations relating to specialized contracts.
- Provide support within the Sales Department where needed to achieve revenue budget.
- Maintenance of existing client base.
- Provision of monthly reports to customers.
- Analysis of customer accounts.
- Client database upkeep.
- RFP/RFQ assistance including collection of information required, transcribing information to format provided and submission of proposals.
- Trade Show representation.
- Marketing assistance (social media, promotional material sourcing) as required.
- Post‑secondary education in a related field
- Experience working in the hazardous waste/chemical field considered an asset.
- 2-3 years of sales experience preferred.
- Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills are required.
- Working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
- Excellent organizational and administrative skills.
- Superior attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and exercise good judgement in a variety of situations.
- Demonstrated proactive approaches to problem‑solving with strong decision‑making capability, and the capacity to anticipate and adapt to change.
- Solid time management skills, with the ability to complete and prioritize a variety of tasks.
