This role involves proactive outreach and full management of the tour reservations cycle for the Museum. You will identify and connect with tour operators, travel agents, and destination marketing organizations to drive group tour revenue. Your contributions will help expand human rights education and inspire action through tourism.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead research and outreach to local and out-of-town tourism clients
• Manage full travel trade sales cycle from prospecting to contracts
• Develop and deliver compelling sales presentations to diverse audiences
• Negotiate and manage group tour agreements and commission structures
• Represent the Museum at industry events and trade shows
Requirements:
• Degree in Business Development, Tourism, or related field
• 3-5 years of experience in sales or tourism management
• Proficiency in ticketing systems and Microsoft Office 365
• Strong analytical skills for data-driven decision making
• Excellent verbal and written communication
