About the Role

Are you someone who enjoys building relationships, solving problems, and keeping multiple priorities moving at once? We're looking for an Account Manager who brings energy, curiosity, and a customer-first mindset to everything they do.

In this role, you'll be the go-to contact for clients, helping them find the right solutions, uncover new opportunities, and keep projects moving forward. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy turning conversations into long-term partnerships, we'd love to hear from you.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Stay connected with existing and prospective customers to understand their needs and identify new opportunities
  • Respond to incoming calls, inquiries, and orders with professionalism and urgency
  • Open new accounts and support a growing customer base
  • Make proactive outbound calls to generate new business and strengthen relationships
  • Prepare pricing quotations and follow up on outstanding opportunities
  • Provide basic technical product support and guidance
  • Keep up to date on current products, new offerings, and industry developments
  • Identify project opportunities, specialty products, and non-stock solutions
  • Build lasting customer relationships that drive repeat business and long-term success
What You'll Bring
  • Post-secondary education is an asset
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel
  • Previous sales or inside sales experience
  • Experience in the building materials, industrial supply, or related industries is an asset
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • A natural ability to connect with customers and earn their trust
  • Excellent organization, multitasking, and attention to detail
  • Technical aptitude and a willingness to learn product knowledge quickly
  • Experience preparing quotations, bid packages, and pricing proposals
  • A team-first attitude and flexibility to support business needs when required
