Overview
Step into a leadership position as a Managing Consultant, Fisheries Biologist with ERM. This role focuses on technical expertise and impactful field projects in Canada's natural beauty.
As a vital part of ERM's Biodiversity & Ecosystems practice, you will oversee major projects and influence aquatic resource management. With a track record in consulting, your contributions will support transformative initiatives in mining and energy while allowing for hybrid work options. Collaborate with a diverse team of scientists and biologists dedicated to sustainability.
Responsibilities- Lead the design of fish habitat field programs
- Support fisheries offsetting planning and monitoring
- Analyze fish biology and habitat data compilation
- Draft technical documents and permitting submissions
- Provide mentorship to junior staff members
- B.Sc. in Fisheries Biology or related field
- 4+ years of consulting experience in aquatic biology
- Solid communication and technical reporting skills
- Valid driver’s license for extensive field travel
- Required Pleasure Craft Operator’s License
