PositionSummary
Supports the oversight of regulatory matters and strategy implementation to ensure the organization complies with applicable regulations. Responsibilities will include obtaining and renewing necessary licenses and permits, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations, and monitoring changes in legislation that impact our operations.
Schedule40 Hours Monday to Friday
What you will do- Prepares filings and tracks applications for licensing, certification, and permits and interacts with governmental officials during the regulation and certification process.
- Monitors compliance with existing regulations and upcoming or changing regulations.
- Participates in processes to report, investigate, and addresses any issues of non-compliance.
- 2 years of transportation industry experience in a similar role
- College diploma; with a focus on business
- MS Office and intermediate level excel
- valid drivers license and reliable vehicle required
- Data Entry-Keyboarding
- Filing accuracy
- Multi-tasking and organizational skills
- Detail oriented
- Previous licensing and permits experience is preferred
- Experience with IFTA (International Fuel Tax Agreement) preferred
