Be a catalyst for social innovation as a Research Support Volunteer at Roots of Empathy in Toronto. Engage in evaluations that enhance emotional intelligence and empathy in children.
In this volunteer role, you will assist the Research Team with vital internal evaluations of programs. Candidates should be pursuing or have completed relevant social sciences degrees. Your primary focus will involve organizing and analyzing student feedback to improve educational initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Scan and categorize student artwork for evaluations
• Maintain organized records of research materials systematically
• Identify meaningful feedback quotes reflecting program effectiveness
• Provide assistance with data entry and clerical tasks
• Attend and participate in research meetings actively
Requirements:
• Currently pursuing a degree in social sciences or equivalent experience
• Strong organizational and communication skills are essential
• Research or administrative background is preferred
• Understanding of child development is an asset
• Commitment of at least 7.5 hours weekly is required
