YOUR NEXT CHALLENGE
In this role, you will be reporting to the Exploration General Supervisor and part of a close‑knit Ontario Regional Exploration team that values practical thinking, strong field execution, and supporting each other to do our best work. You will be actively involved in planning and running programs, turning data into decisions in real time.

Take ownership of planning and delivering exploration programs (drilling, mapping, sampling, geophysics), adapting to field conditions and results in real time.
Lead field teams and contractors, setting clear expectations and maintaining safe, efficient, and well‑organized programs.
Mentor and develop geologists and students through coaching, feedback, and hands‑on support.
Integrate geological, geochemical, and geophysical data to refine models, generate targets, and support project advancement.
Contribute to building and advancing the exploration pipeline through sound technical interpretation and decision‑making.
Prepare internal and technical reports, as well as scope of work and request for proposal documents. Prepare results from ongoing exploration activities for corporate reports and quarterly updates.
Maintain strong sampling, analytical, and QA/QC practices to support reliable data and interpretations.
Communicate results, plans, and recommendations clearly through reporting and ongoing discussions with the broader team.
Promote and support Agnico Eagle’s Health, Safety, Environmental, and Cultural standards across all activities.
QUALIFICATIONS
Degree in Geology or Geological Engineering; postgraduate education is an asset.
Registered as a Professional Geologist (P.Geo.) in Canada.
More than 7 years of mineral exploration experience, including field programs and diamond drilling.
Experience managing deep (>1500 m) exploration drilling program is considered an asset. Strong technical foundation with the ability to interpret geological data and support exploration decisions.
Experience leading or supporting field teams, with a demonstrated ability to mentor others and contribute to a positive team environment.
Experience contributing to exploration programs, including planning, execution, or coordination of field activities.
Solid working knowledge of core logging, GIS, and 3D modelling tools, with the ability to support others in their use.
Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and make sound decisions in the field.
Practical, solutions‑oriented mindset with a willingness to learn, adapt, and take ownership.
Commitment to maintaining a safe, respectful, and inclusive work environment.
Valid driver’s license.
WORK SCHEDULE
Schedule:
8 days on, 6 days off.
Travel allowance is provided.
Accommodation is provided.
Based in Dobie, near Kirkland Lake, Ontario.
COMPENSATION
In accordance with applicable legislation, the expected compensation includes base salary and potential bonus opportunity. Your individual pay will reflect your skills and experience while remaining competitive within the local market.
