Environmental Field Technician in Ontario

WSP is seeking a self-motivated individual with a diploma in environmental sciences for this vital role. With a minimum of three years of experience supervising drilling and remediation contractors, you'll be responsible for health and safety adherence, field data collection, and subcontractor management. Your strong time-management skills will directly impact site operations and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare site-specific health and safety plans
• Identify and report site hazards and incidents
• Collect soil and groundwater samples accurately
• Supervise contractors in excavation and monitoring
• Oversee project documentation and data entry
Requirements:
• Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience
• Diploma in environmental sciences required
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills
• Valid driver’s license for travel
• Safety-conscious with a positive attitude
