This technician role demands expertise in environmental, chemical, or geological engineering, providing field oversight for projects. You will oversee soil sampling, groundwater monitoring, and equipment operation while coordinating with project teams. Availability for out-of-town work is essential, as is adaptability to various weather conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct soil sampling during drilling and excavation activities
• Monitor groundwater and sampling with various equipment
• Supervise drillers and contractors on site
• Complete job safety analysis and field documentation
• Mentor junior staff when necessary
Requirements:
• Degree or diploma in environmental or related fields
• Experience in environmental consulting preferred
• Valid driver’s license needed
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Physically able to perform outdoor tasks in varied weather conditions
