Position: Wetland Specialist with Ducks Unlimited
Engage in environmental consulting as a Wetland Specialist with Ducks Unlimited in Winnipeg, Manitoba. This hybrid role focuses on restoration projects and ecological assessments.

As a key member of the Restoration Team at Ducks Unlimited, you'll collaborate with ecologists and engineers to create science-based solutions for naturalized stormwater systems. This full-time, fixed-term position spans approximately 16 months and requires a solid foundation in ecology and project management. Lead restoration projects and support a multidisciplinary team through field and office work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Advise on environmental sustainability and restoration planning

• Lead restoration and green infrastructure projects

• Build positive relationships with clients and team members

• Interpret ecological data for practical recommendations

• Prepare proposals and project budgets

Requirements:

•

B.Sc. in Biology, Ecology, or related discipline

• Minimum 3 years in ecological field projects

• Strong technical report writing skills

• Valid Class 5 driver’s license

• Field botany skills including plant community assessments
