Become a Upland Ecologist with Ducks Unlimited in Manitoba, working on innovative restoration projects. This full-time position is primarily hybrid and offers comprehensive involvement in ecological practices.

Join the experienced Restoration Team at Ducks Unlimited in this fixed-term role lasting about 16 months. Your responsibilities will include leading ecological projects while cultivating relationships with clients and multidisciplinary teams. Successful candidates will leverage their expertise in environmental legislation and restoration planning to achieve sustainable solutions in the field.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead ecological restoration and green infrastructure initiatives

• Engage with clients on environmental project needs

• Collaborate with ecologists and engineers on projects

• Analyze ecological data for evidence-based decisions

• Draft proposals and present project deliverables

Requirements:

•

B.Sc. in a relevant environmental discipline

• At least 3 years of ecological project experience

• Excellent communication skills for various audiences

• Valid Class 5 driver’s license required

• Strong attention to detail in technical work
