Environmental Consultant - Restoration Specialist

Join Ducks Unlimited as an Environmental Consultant specializing in wetland and upland restoration in Winnipeg, Manitoba. This hybrid role is suited for experienced practitioners passionate about ecological sustainability.

As a fixed-term, full-time member of the Restoration Team, you will collaborate with engineers and ecologists to deliver impactful environmental consulting services. You will lead various restoration projects and advise clients on best practices and compliance with environmental regulations. This role combines fieldwork with strategic planning and project management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Advise on ecological restoration and project implementation

• Lead and support green infrastructure projects

• Build relationships with project partners and clients

• Analyze and report on ecological data and findings

• Prepare detailed project proposals and budgets

Requirements:

•

B.Sc. in Biology, Ecology, or equivalent

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in ecological projects

• Strong technical writing and presentation skills

• Valid Class 5 driver’s license

• Knowledge of wetland policies in western Canada
