Kinross is actively searching for a Project Exploration Geologist with a minimum of 2-4 years in the mining sector. This role involves executing exploration activities, coordinating fieldwork, and maintaining geological databases. The ideal candidate should hold a degree in Geology and possess strong analytical abilities combined with effective communication skills. Frequent travel to project sites is a requirement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead coordination of onsite personnel for exploration tasks

• Participate in field programs including core logging and geochemical sampling

• Ensure QAQC protocols are implemented effectively

• Produce and prepare maps and technical documentation

• Analyze geological data for project support

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Geology required

• Professional Geologist certification eligibility

• Previous mining industry experience is preferred

• Proficiency in GIS software and Microsoft Office

• Good communication and organizational skills
